eSIM Go sells data-only travel eSIMs to people who live in India and fly abroad. Buy eSIM online here: the price shows as a ≈ ₹ estimate, and your card is charged in US dollars. Install the eSIM in India; it connects when you land abroad.
Price by destination: what it costs where you’re going
The price changes by destination because each country has its own plans in the catalogue: there is no single daily rate for the whole world. Below is the entry plan (1 GB for 7 days, where the catalogue has one) in eight destinations, with the network behind it.

How buying a travel eSIM from India works
To buy eSIM online here, pick a country page, choose one of the eSIM data plans by days and GB, and pay by card. The QR code arrives by e-mail after payment. You install it at home on Wi-Fi a few days before the flight, and the plan starts working when the phone connects to a network at your destination.
Start from the country list or open a popular page: Thailand, the UAE, Europe or the USA. Ministry of Tourism data for 2025 lists the UAE with 8,646,234 departures from India and Saudi Arabia with 3,376,145. Thailand follows with about 2.2 million, our derivation from the ministry’s 6.8% share of 32,829,079 departures.
Paying from India: US$ charge, ≈ ₹ estimate, your bank’s markup
The ≈ ₹ estimate uses the market USD to INR rate of the day. The amount that leaves your card is the US$ figure, and your bank decides the final rupee amount. We do not accept UPI, RuPay, net banking or EMI at launch; payment is by card, Visa or Mastercard, among others. Check your card before you buy.
Under Reserve Bank of India rules, new and reissued Indian cards work only at contact-based points in India until you switch on online and international use. You can switch them on yourself in your bank’s app, internet banking, at an ATM or by phone banking. Your bank may also ask you to approve the payment (OTP or in-app). How card payments work walks through the steps and the markup. This page is not financial advice; check the details with your bank.
The seller of record is JET SHARING MOBILITY INC, United States. Your card statement shows “JET SHARING”.
Keep your Jio, Airtel or Vi number for OTPs
Bank OTPs arrive as SMS on your Indian number, and a data-only eSIM cannot receive them. Keep your Indian SIM in the second slot with its mobile data off, and ask your operator whether SMS works abroad on your plan. No page can promise that every OTP will reach you.
Your phone needs to run an eSIM and a physical SIM together. The guide to keeping your Indian SIM for OTPs covers the dual-SIM settings.
An operator roaming pack is sometimes the better buy, for example when you need calls on your Indian number. We sell travel eSIMs, so we have an interest here. The roaming comparison shows Jio, Airtel and Vi packs with dates, so you can judge for yourself.
Check your phone before you buy
An eSIM works only on a phone built for it. Before you pay, check your model in the list of eSIM-compatible phones or on the maker’s official India page. Installing needs Wi-Fi and the QR code from your e-mail, and the install guide shows the steps for iPhone and Android.
Refund before the eSIM connects
Full refund within 30 days of purchase, as long as the eSIM has not connected to any network. The threshold is the first connection, not the installation, so an eSIM installed at home is still refundable if your trip is cancelled. After it connects, the refund before activation no longer applies.
The one exception: if the eSIM doesn’t work and it isn’t your phone’s fault, we refund the payment whether or not it was installed.
The refund goes back to the same card in US$, and your bank converts it at its own rate. Some banks keep their markup: SBI Card states that its foreign currency transaction fee “will not be reversed in case of transaction refunds”, and ICICI Bank states that a refund initiated by the customer on a foreign currency credit card transaction “will also attract a 3.5% Markup fee” (both as listed on 12 Oct 2026).
